Xcel Energy's Home Performance Rebate program rewards you with up to $1,200 in cash rebates when you install a wide variety of energy-saving improvements, equipment, and appliances.

Begin by calling Xcel Energy at 1-800-895-4999 to sign up for the program and to request a required Home Energy Audit. Then start making energy improvements using trusted contractors. The more improvements you make, the bigger your cash rebate and the more energy you save.

Participation Requirements

• Must be a residential natural gas and electric customer of Xcel Energy or be an all electric Xcel Energy customer with electric space heating
• Complete a Standard Home Energy Audit with Blower Door ($60 fee) or Infrared audit ($100 fee)
• Use an install contractor from a Participating Install Contractor List
• Implement at least five improvements—three mandatory and two optional, but there is no limit to the number of improvements you can make!
• Complete final inspection and provide all receipts to the NEC
